Continue reading Adieu 2021A few months back, I wrote about my contemplation in buying new gouache colours and paintbrushes to learn floral art. Did I stick to painting? The answer is a positive definite yes. Picking up my brushes, painting and filling out my journal with small pieces of floral art has made me feel content. To explore more, I started following artists and illustrators who showcase beautiful artwork, took part in online challenges and realised β I want to learn more. And build my niche.
Continue reading Can We Keep Learning? Part-2Hello! I hope you are keeping well and safe. The lockdown is still imposed upon us here, but this is June, it is the Pride month and I have been wanting to write about it for the longest time.
Note: What I discuss here does not encompass the entire outlook or experiences of the queer community. These are my personal opinions and experiences, so please forgive me if I may have written something that does not resonate with the queer community.

Before getting my hands on this eBook from Edinburgh Libraries (forever thankful), I have seen rave as well as one-star reviews of this book on Instagram. I own two books by this author β Notes on a Nervous Planet and Reasons to Stay Alive. Matt Haig is a person who brings forth issues about anxiety, mental breakdown, panic attacks, depression and so on in his books, and The Midnight Library is a fictional story that weaves in all these issues. In this book, we meet Nora Seed, our protagonist who suffers terribly from loneliness.

But lockdown woes have made my parents give me a big fat NO for travelling, so I took a sabbatical from writing for a while and got into ruminating about what should I do next.
Unlike last year, I did not make any resolutions list for this year because the uncertainty of the situation made me realise this is a good time to slow down and spontaneously learn as you go. So in this post, let me share some of my ideas, thoughts and projects that I am currently working on and hopefully will bring to fruition in the upcoming months.
