My ideal home looks like a mix of countryside decor—rustic and grounded—with a bit of tech and lots of art thrown in! A place where I grow a lot of plants, have dogs, and have a lovely tiny in-home library and writing desk space. It also needs to have a kitchen that is well organized, looks minimal, but has pretty much all the kitchen equipment that I use on a daily basis.
Also, community matters. So I would prefer a place where I can walk to nearby shops and places for a quick chat or coffee. Someplace where I can volunteer and really provide service in person. Coming back home, I want to look at all the art pieces I have collected over the years and display them beautifully and feel inspired. A coffee counter would be a great add-on. A safe space to stay silent and meditate, taking in the nature sounds that surround my home.
In short, my home needs to feel earthy, comfy, and artsy to make me feel creative, inspired, positive, and grateful.
